About this site
The police closed the investigation on February 28, 2025. They cataloged Professor Blackwood’s disappearance as a standard missing persons case. They missed the loose floorboard in the library.
Inside were seventeen water-damaged notebooks. The handwriting belongs to the Professor, yet the paper dates back to the Victorian era. The entries describe the Etymology Department, the acoustics of Lake Silent, and an event called the "Third Quieting."
I am digitizing the contents exactly as found. Some dates in these journals have not happened yet.
