The police closed the investigation into Professor Blackwood’s disappearance on February 28, 2025. His research assistant continued the work — obsessively, from what I can tell.

Then the assistant vanished too. March 2026.

I found their combined notes in a cardboard box. Seventeen of the Professor’s water-damaged notebooks, plus the assistant’s journal — forty-seven pages of increasingly frantic handwriting. Some of it doesn’t make sense. Some of it does, which is worse.

I’m digitizing what I can. The paper is deteriorating.
